Description
The legendary Kintoki, another name for Kintaro (often translated as ‘Golden Boy’), was born with superhuman strength. Raised in the wilderness by the mountain witch (Yamauba), who can bee seen on top of the rock, Kintoki’s only childhood companions were the animals of the mountain. Known for feats of strength throughout his childhood, here he is shown wrestling in the water with a giant carp.
