Description:
A man struggles up a hill with an old relative on his back. He is practising 'obasute' where impoverished families would abandon their elderly relatives to free themselves of the economic burden. A subject of several stories and plays, the inherent cruelty of the situation is softened by the placid features of both individuals, and the presence in the foreground of a healthy pine, the symbol of longevity.

A mark to lower part of design, otherwise very good.
