Description
This design shows the story of a greedy old woman who, even though she had cut off the tongue of a sparrow, was offered by it the choice of two baskets. Thinking the baskets were filled with treasure, she greedily demanded the larger of the two. Once she had struggled home with the heavy basket, she opened it only to realise it was filled with angry demons.
